Projects
Everything I have built, including the small ones.
Drones, vision systems, research tools, and a few weekend experiments. Browse by area, or just work your way down the list.
- QuadBotsShippedMy NSF research project in Boise. A carbon hexacopter carries a tracked ground robot to a site and keeps watching from above. I owned vision, comms, embedded bring up, and the dashboard.
- TentumBuildingTests Pixhawk and ArduPilot vehicles from preflight through post-flight analysis. It can inject repeatable faults in simulation, monitor live risk, and turn each run into an evidence-backed readiness report.
- AVSCAActiveA seven-stage classical vision pipeline for airborne video. It combines optical flow, RANSAC motion estimates, scale-space checks, and temporal consistency to separate persistent anomalies from noise.
- SimCLR for spaceShippedA SimCLR pipeline with physics-aware changes in illumination, sensor noise, motion blur, and atmospheric blur. Its ResNet-18 reached 95.2 percent linear-probe accuracy using labels for only 10 percent of the dataset.
- UniHearShippedTakes a video or a news article and returns American Sign Language video, a multilingual summary, and audio. Built over a hackathon weekend at RIT and took first place.
- VoltActiveThe college retrieval platform I lead. Python, Qdrant, and Railway, sitting at 92 percent answer relevance and 94 percent answer correctness.
- SwarmShieldBuildingAn interactive browser simulation where six defensive UAVs protect a perimeter using only local observations and short messages. Compare a classical solver with a trained MAPPO policy, launch your own attacks, and test degraded communication.
- Pixel PilotShippedA browser flight game with real quadcopter physics and failures. Start in Flight School with a coach. Then fly deliveries, rescues, and indoor inspections through gusts, GPS blackouts, motor failures, bird strikes, and radio dropouts.
- Gate labeling envShippedConverts Label Studio boxes and corner keypoints into YOLOv8 pose labels. It matches TL, TR, BR, and BL points to each gate, handles multi-gate images, and creates an 80/20 training split.
- Dataset combinerShippedNormalizes five UAV datasets and several annotation formats into six consistent YOLO classes: people, vehicles, buildings, wires, utility towers, and trees. The result feeds AVSCA on a Jetson Orin Nano.
- NectereBuildingA meeting bot built around Recall.ai with separate Python, Node, and browser clients. It can enter Zoom, Meet, or Teams, speak through the call, and render a configurable on-camera presence.
- ValorBuildingTurns military health data into automated disability reports, since a lot of first pass denials come down to unclear paperwork. Built on Confluent and Google Cloud.
- Hack-Coms sourceShippedThe hackathon code that turns articles and YouTube videos into ASL video, multilingual text, and spoken summaries. The prototype uses Flask, Gemini, ElevenLabs, and lightweight JSON storage.
- 3dconstrtrArchiveA ROS 2 node that runs MiDaS depth estimation on camera frames, calibrates the result against a Benewake TF02-Pro LiDAR reading, and publishes a metric depth image for downstream point-cloud tools.
- ai-orb-videoArchiveA small JavaScript animation that moves control points around an orbit, joins them with a smooth quadratic curve, and slowly shifts the glowing line through cyan and violet.
- vidyaiicsArchiveAn early web project exploring how a multilingual chat interface could help people with limited access to guidance turn personal goals into practical next steps.
- Competitive programmingArchiveData structures and algorithms in C++ on CodeChef and Codeforces. Ranked in the top 2 percent of 500,000 CodeChef users.
